×Nufox are a specialist marine hatch seals manufacturer, providing seals for cargo covers, access doors, watertight doors and skylights in a wide range of marine applications.
Marine hatch seals, which are also known as hatch covers and watertight door seals, can be produced from an assortment of different rubbers according to different applications, and also to meet special varying specifications. Given the highly demanding environment in which these seals must operate it is vital that they are of high standard and capable of repelling all to which they may be subjected.
These vary from cargo ships, oil tankers, chemical tankers right up to our Royal Naval ships. We combine this with our technical ability and know how to produce the marine hatch seals in a wide range of different materials i.e neoprene, EPDM and natural rubber, all of which are widely used for hatch seal production. In particular neoprene is used where higher temperatures are experienced or where ozone protection is required. Nitrile options are available where gas and oil resistance is a prerequisite.
We can provide standard seals or help specify and design a bespoke solution, either from drawings you supply or match any current seal in situ that may need to be replaced.
Our friendly technical team are always on hand to provide the benefit of their considerable experience, and will be happy to answer any questions you may have on any projects involving marine hatch seals that you may have now or in the future. All you need to do is ask.
We treat every project with care and imagination to make sure we specify the optimum solution and the extensive range of manufacturing capabilities ensure that we can create the ultimate end product, without compromise and with quality central to all our thinking.
We can take your concept through design, sampling, to finished product in-house, with complete control throughout. Yes, at Nufox we provide you with a product that is totally compatible to your design and functional requirements.
No, but many of our products require tooling development, processing machine set up and compound selection. So the costs involved in this process have to be allocated to the project. But if a small quantity is required for fit and function, this can be accommodated.
If the product is a new development requiring tooling, this can often be less than four weeks. However if the project is complex and requires a specially formulated compound, this can be longer. Once we have your enquiry, we are able to give you an indicative production time.
